Frequently Asked

Does a Slip Reset My Score?

No. Soberr's score is a rolling trend, not a day-counter. A slip slows it, it never zeroes it out. You can also restart just one substance's counter with "I Slipped" on the Substances screen. Your best streak and your score stay, and there's an Undo.

Is My Data Private?

Yes. Everything you track lives on your device, protected by your PIN. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full details, including how Apple Health data is handled.

Do I Need to Connect Apple Health?

No — it's optional. Connecting it enriches your Body, Mind, and Resilience scores, but the app works fully without it.

How Do I Cancel Soberr Pro?

Manage or cancel your subscription any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we can't cancel it on your end, only the App Store / Play Store can.

How Do I Delete My Data?

In the app, open Settings and tap "Delete all my data". It erases your progress, history and PIN from your phone and removes your sponsor invite from our server. It can't be undone, so export a backup first if you want one. If you used the web testing version with an email, contact us below to have that record deleted too.

How Do I Move to a New Phone?

On your old phone, open Settings and tap "Export a backup" (free), then copy it. On the new phone, tap "Log in" on the first screen, then "Restore from a backup", paste it, and choose a new PIN. Your PIN never leaves a phone, so it can't be copied over. A backup isn't encrypted and includes your private notes, so keep it somewhere safe.

What Does the Urge Button Do?

It's for the moment before a slip. Tap "Having an urge?", take a minute to breathe, and log what it's for, how strong it is and what set it off. It never resets a counter or changes your points. It's a private record that urges pass, and it helps you spot your patterns.

I Need to Talk to Someone Right Now

In the US or Canada, call or text 988 any time. In the US, SAMHSA's helpline is 1-800-662-4357, free and confidential. If you are in danger, call 911. Stopping alcohol, benzodiazepines or opioids suddenly can be medically dangerous, so please talk to a doctor first.
